The Giantess is a female fronted Roots-Rock band from Southern Oregon with a dance worthy energy. The band plays original Blues, Jazz and Rock songs.

Solo artist, genre is classical, jazz, American songbook, blues, popular, Spanish, and Brazilian, focusing on traditional/public domain songs and including original music.

Vocal and guitar, genre is jazz, soul & funk.

Solo singer, songwriter and guitar player, genre is a wide range from modern folk pop to soul, country tinged rock to Americana and simple songwriter material.

The son of a bebop saxophonist, Grant Ruiz has played classical guitar since he was 10 years old. After studying flamenco in Spain and with several renowned artists in the U.S., he became an active performer and teacher in Southern Oregon.
