POLSON, MCCOY & COHOON JAZZ TRIO
After working in the Twin Cities jazz scene for many years, Thor Polson relocated to Ashland in 2010 in order to study classical piano with Dr. Alexander Tutunov at SOU. Thor plays gigs regularly throughout the Valley, including tributes to such historic jazzers as Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter. His recordings can be heard on Pandora Radio and Jango Radio, and his most recent album “Northern Lights” received high praise from Jazz Police critic Andrea Canter.
