Live Music: Love Notes

Vocalist Vanessa Finney & Guitarist Mark Hamersly perform live music together as LoveNotes. The jazz duet covers Ellington, Jobim, Kurt Weill, Cole Porter, and other 20th century greats from the U.S, Brazil, and Europe–as well as contemporary composers. As a lover of Romance languages and literature, Vanessa sprinkles in French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese for a taste of the original lyric. When not singing, she hosts “My Better Half” on Jefferson Public Radio.
