Originally from the east coast, guitarist Ed Dunsavage has been performing regularly around the Pacific Northwest for 25 years. He plays regularly with his trio featuring drummer Chicken Hirsh and bassist Joe Cohoon and has shared the stage with many wonderful artists. He is Adjunct Professor of guitar studies at Southern Oregon University and also works as artistic director for the Siskiyou Music Project, a non-profit, arts and education organization based in Ashland, Oregon.
Dan Fellman lives in Ashland and plays a wide range of jazz styles, including American jazz standards, Latin jazz, Flamenco fusion, and gypsy jazz: the music of Django Reinhart and the “Hot Club of France” of the 1930’s and 1940’s. Dan has played with a number of local bands and as a duo with Grant Ruiz, Ed Dunsavage, and Paul Turnipseed. The current duo with Ed Dunsavage focuses on gypsy jazz, swing, and Latin jazz.
