Live Music – David Scoggin

David Scoggin has been in the Rogue Valley for 15 years after music careers in Minneapolis and the San Francisco Bay Area.  He has played with Bo Diddley, Charmaine Neville, West Coast musicians Brandon Fields, Dan Balmer, Jeff Pevar and has recorded at Prince’s Paisley Park studio with the Steele Family and others. David has opened in concert for Janet Jackson, Sheila E., The Crusaders, The Time, Billy Preston, Three Dog Night, Michael Franks, Maceo Parker and many others. In 2013 David released a CD of his original compositions entitled Pan’s Meadow featuring 16 musicians. He has been voted best jazz musician in Sneak Previews and has run the Briscoe ArtWing’s Music Room for 10 years where he records, teaches, and holds recitals.
