Multi-instrumentalist Bob Rawlings plays a large variety of musical styles ranging from Bluegrass to bebop.
Bob has played with and/or opened for numerous artists including Richie Cole, Dizzy Gillespie, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Smokey Robinson, Wilfrido Vargas, and Tony Bennett.
Bob’s solo piano playing is inspired by diverse styles ranging from Jerry Lee Lewis to Thelonius Monk. His repertoire includes, but is not limited to, pop songs from the 1950s to the present, The Great American Songbook, 19th century Americana, and hard-core jazz with emphasis on John Coltrane and Charlie Parker.
