Live Music – Money Beats

The Money Beats is a lively, fun band consisting of Sydney Williamson (vocals and acoustic guitar), Sydney’s dad, Jeff Williamson (upright acoustic bass and rhythm instruments) and Emily Blesse (electric piano). The Money Beats perform classic, upbeat songs from diverse artists such as The Beatles, David Bowie, Elvis, Prince, The Rolling Stones and even Michael Jackson. Additionally, The Money Beats adds in a few of their own original songs. The idea for the band came from Jeff who has performed for years as a professional bassist. He had the concept of creating a band with his daughter specifically tailored for the ambiance of wineries. Sydney is a gifted singer and musician who has a unique class and style that perfectly lends itself to classic songs performed with the clean, ambient sound of acoustic guitar, upright bass and piano. Emily Blesse was the perfect addition on piano. The Money Beats combines the new with the old to create a sound and look that appeals to all.
