Stolen Moments consists of Dan Fellman on guitar, Conny Lindley on vocals and guitar, and Walter Lindley on upright bass. Dan Fellman lives in Ashland and plays a wide range of jazz styles, including American jazz standards, Latin jazz, Flamenco fusion, and gypsy jazz: the music of Django Reinhart and his “Hot Club of France” of the 1930’s and 1940’s. Dan has played with a number of local bands including Gypsy Rogue, Back Porch Swing, the Djangoholics, and as a duo with Grant Ruiz, Ed Dunsavage, and Paul Turnipseed.
Conny & Walter live in Williams, Oregon and have played in many bands in the Rogue Valley since the 1980’s, most recently with their band Swing State, performing regularly at wineries and music venues in the Applegate Valley for the past eight years.
Conny’s voice is soft and intimate, her vocals warm and smooth, a songstress of mellow music, blending beautifully with the dark, cool, rhythmic & harmonic underpinning of Walter’s bass, and the soulful, articulate jazz of Dan’s guitar, in their trio “Stolen Moments”. Their repertoire includes American jazz standards, bossa nova standards of Antonio Carlos Jobim, the gypsy jazz of Django Reinhardt, Latin jazz and western swing. Conny sings in Brazilian Portuguese, French and Spanish.
